Monika Serwa’s Bio 2016
HEALTH ENTHUSIAST & PROMOTER – High Raw Vegan Nutrition
Monika was born in Poland and spent 14 years living a country lifestyle with home made organic foods and lots of clean fresh air. In 1988, at 14 years old, she left Poland with her parents and siblings and lived for 2 years in Athens, Greece.
While in Greece she enjoyed the balmy Mediterranean climate and all the fresh peaches, nectarines, watermelon and such she could eat.
In 1990, Monika again transplanted to live in Hamilton, Ontatio where she lived for 3 years while finishing high school.
Monika now lives with her husband and 2 children in Abbotsford, British Columbia.
In 2008 Monika was diagnosed with MS and was given a bleak prognosis for the rest of her uncertain future. Soon after this diagnosis she discovered the Raw Vegan Foods Diet; That’s why she’s here today inspiring others to help their bodies heal naturally.
Monika has been an enthusiastic promoter of the healing properties of Whole, Real, Organic & Raw Vegan Foods for years now.
Since 2010 she was organizing Raw Vegan Potlucks in Abbotsford, Mission and Chilliwack. Over the years Monika has also taught Raw Vegan Food Prep Classes and Catered Raw Vegan Ethnic Dinners.
In summer of 2013 she successfully taught Fermentation Classes at the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Abbotsford & also in private homes.
In 2013 she also started running an Organic Produce Buying Group which originally became known as Growing Fresh Organics and eventually as Crazy Peppers Organics.
In 2015 she registered Growing Fresh as a business and since then she has been making and selling her Raw Vegan Snacks & Treats at local Farmers Markets, Special Events & retail locations such as Pomme Natural Market & Vegan Supply.
She is also the author of “Raw Vegan Delight” – Raw Vegan Recipe Books & Recipe Calendars available in print for sale at her markets and on her websites as e-books.
